Kristen Elizabeth "Krissy" Goodman

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Kristen Elizabeth "Krissy" Goodman will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be The Very Rev. Monsignor Earl V. Provenza, V.F. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lamar Baptist Church Cemetery, Delhi, LA.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home.
Krissy was born November 1, 1982 and passed away suddenly Sunday, June 20, 2004.
A former resident of Shreveport, LA, she attended Captain Shreve High School and was a member of the Drama Club.  Krissy was born a "Drama Queen". She was a 2001 graduate of Winfern High School in Houston, TX. Krissy was Princess of the Krewe of Gemini in 1999 while living in Shreveport.

Her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodman; maternal grandfather, John Burchenal and maternal step-grandfather, William McCarter preceded her in death. Survivors are her mother, Janice Burchenal Goodman of Houston, TX; father, Ronny Goodman and wife, Wanda of Shreveport, LA; grandmother, Marion B. McCarter of Slidell, LA; brothers, Cory Goodman of Houston, TX, Gregg Gregory and Michael Ciaravino both of Shreveport, LA; fiance, Gene Peacock of Bossier City, LA; close family friend, Gyla Whitlow; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Sims, Jason Martin, Gregg Gregory, Tony Whitlow, Mark Darnell and Eric Barney. Michael Ciaravino will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
